Eh,the alliance isn't interesting every day either. I dunno,but back then everyone was like "ALLIANCE IS SO GOOD AND HORDE IS EVIL!!!" And for their information,the alliance isn't exactly pure either.
I would hope that it was true about the Alliance being less than perfect, but from what I have read on the forums on the game website, Blizzard has shown favoritism towards the Horde and done a lot to really play down just how much of an "edge" and character the alliance really has. After all, a whole country just didn't close themselves off from you because of smelling funny..., BUT THE ALLIANCE RIDES MAGICAL PONIES, HAS FANCY BALLS EVERY NOW AND THEN, AND LETS YOU PLAY AS CUTE LITTLE PUPPIES OR PANDAS! yea right...
